The team at West Ridge Veterinary Practice are your local vets in Devon. Established in 1981, the practice was founded by Dick Sibley, David Temple and John Malseed. When the practice began, we aimed to form a progressive and innovative practice to serve the local farming community. Over the years we have grown and are now well established throughout the region. In addition to providing services for farm animals, we also offer professional veterinary services for small animals, exotic pets and equines.
We have three veterinary practice branches covering Mid and North Devon, so we are well positioned to serve clients across the South West.
If you need an emergency vet, please contact your local West Ridge Veterinary Practice branch. We can arrange emergency appointments 24 hours a day for all species at any of our locations, or if you have farm animals or horses, we will visit you.
Due to the large area that West Ridge covers, the practice is divided into two halves depending on geographical location and postcode, enabling the duty vet for that area to get to you quicker.
Once the office closes for the night, we route out-of-hours calls to a professional answering service, who will take your details and then contact the relevant vet on your behalf. The information required includes your name, address, postcode, contact number and the nature of the emergency. We request that you have these details to hand when you call so we can respond to your emergency as quickly as possible.
